Accountests online accounting tests were developed to meet the needs of the global Big-Four Accounting Firms. These tests are equally applicable to internal accounting functions in industry and accounting public practice firms of any size.

The focus of each test is on quality and relevance. This was achieved by engaging Partners from the Big-Four Firms to develop the content of each test. Management, taxation and auditor specialists peer reviewed and adjusted questions for optimal relevance to employers hiring accountants and bookkeepers.

Prototype accounting tests were trialled through a blend of industry and public practice accountants to assess their relevance in a range of accounting settings.

The results established a set of norm groups of accountants and bookkeepers against which to compare candidates taking the actual tests. Finally, a robust online platform was built where these tests can be accessed, and reports produced in an accurate, easily interpreted and timely manner.
